5-HTP (short for 5-hydroxytryptophan) is the hydroxylated form of the amino acid tryptophan, which is found in high-protein foods such as meat and dairy products. The body produces 5-HTP from tryptophan, which is then converted to the neurotransmitter serotonin in the brain.
The 5-HTP contained in this product is of natural origin and specifically comes from the seeds of the African plant Griffonia simplicifolia. The extract from this plant is one of the most widely used 5-HTP supplements in the world and especially popular among US Health Professionals.
As with all herbs manufactured by Lamberts, there is increased vigilance in the selection of raw materials, which is always done in accordance with international guidelines regarding their purity.

Use
Assimilation time: Less than 1 hour.

Dosage: Up to 3 tablets daily, half an hour before meals or half an hour before bed. Start with one tablet and increase if necessary. The product is best taken for periods of up to 3 months. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry environment and protect from light. Keep away from children.

Precautions: Should not be taken by pregnant or lactating women. It is recommended that you avoid operating heavy machinery and driving until it is determined how 5-HTP works in the consumer.
