Tocopherols are a group of fat-soluble chemical compounds of similar chemical structure (homologous compounds) with strong antioxidant properties. They present multiple physiological actions and intake by the human body in small amounts through food is essential. Tocopherols are collectively known as vitamin E and are found in vegetable oils and plant-based foods in general. Tocopherols are distinguished by the letters of the Greek alphabet: α, β, γ, δ, ε, ζ and η. The most important of these is α tocopherol (d-alpha-tocopherol), as it is characterized by better absorption and bioavailability and with in this form the majority of clinical studies have been conducted. Vitamin E is one of the most important vitamins as it contributes* to the protection of cells from oxidative stress

Lamberts VIT-E 400iu:
• provides 400iu of natural Vitamin E as it is produced from the seeds of the sunflower (natural vitamin E) in the form of 'd'-alpha tocopherol which is the most related to vitamin E obtained from food,
• is in the form of an enteric capsule to achieve the maximum possible absorption from the intestine with the secretion of bile

Use
Assimilation time: Less than 30 minutes

Dosage: 1 to 2 capsules daily. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.

Storage: Store in a cool and dry environment and protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.

Precautions: Sufferers of arterial hypertension should initially take vitamin E with a small iu content and then gradually increase the iu, always with the agreement of the doctor. People taking anticoagulant drugs or aspirin should consult a doctor about supplemental intake of Vitamin E. Dietary supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet.
