A nutritional supplement containing the amino acid carnitine in its free form. Carnitine is a non-essential amino acid as it can be synthesized endogenously in the body from lysine.

Carnitine's most well-known metabolic function is the transport of long-chain fatty acids to the mitochondria of muscle cells, (including those of the myocardium), for oxidation.

Dosage
1 capsule daily, with juice or water rather than milk. Amino acids are best absorbed when taken half an hour before eating or going to bed.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage.
