Nuk glass bottle with silicone nipple, odorless, tasteless and temperature resistant material. Glass bottles are easier to clean and do not retain odors like plastic ones. They are also recyclable and more environmentally friendly, but they are heavier and more difficult to transport and also carry the risk of breakage and injury.
How Are Baby Bottles Sterilized?
Sterilizing the bottle before use is very important, at least until your baby reaches 6-7 months and always according to the guidance of your pediatrician. Each baby bottle, depending on its material and instructions for use, has a specific cleaning procedure. First wash it carefully with warm water and soap, using the special cleaning brushes to remove food residues.
Sterilization can then be done in 2 ways:
- By boiling: immerse all the equipment in boiling water for 10 minutes having previously checked that this method is suitable for your bottle and its accessories
- With an electric sterilizer, always following the manufacturer's instructions. Some baby bottles can also be sterilized in a microwave oven.
